Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct basic to complex dimensional measurements using hand tools such as Micrometers, Vernier’s, Gage pins, Digital Height Gages, and thread gages.
  • Enter process information into computer-based data systems.
  • Transport parts to designated areas.
  • Communicate within the Quality Department as needed.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.

Job Requirements / Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge in the use of inspection/test equipment such as micrometers, height gauges, optical comparator, gage blocks, ring and plug gages. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for inspection requirements including the understanding of and ability to measure geometric tolerance features.
  • GED/High school education required. MS Office, Excel, and Word.
  • One (1) to five (5) years’ direct experience in a quality related position.
  • GD&T Knowledge.
  • Ability to read and decipher blueprints.
  • Ability to conduct basic to advanced visual cosmetic inspections.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
